Personal Description:

I can help students to make the most of their academic opportunities in one-on-one sessions. I have a great enthusiasm for science, and working as a physics tutor is a perfect chance to share that with others. As a physics tutor, I am able to help students with the most relevant material for their goals in a supportive environment.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Molecular, Cellular, & Developmental Biology. I was employed by the Department of Biology as well. I am able to help students with a number of high school physics concepts and skills as well as other science topics.

Tutoring Approach:

I strive to support students and help them avoid mistakes more than correct them. I believe in setting clear expectations and teaching in engaging ways. I orient sessions around areas where the student is struggling. I am glad to take the time to answer any questions a student might have.
