Personal Description:
If you're looking for an economics tutor, you probably hope to do well on some sort of exam. I believe that doing well on tests requires both knowing the subject material and test-taking strategies such as the process of elimination, ignoring irrelevant information, and moving quickly without rushing. Therefore, I spend study time on both of these aspects. I am comfortable tutoring a variety of subjects, including statistics, multivariable calculus, and econometrics.
Tutoring Experience:
Most of my tutoring experience comes from 1-on-1 sessions with K-12 students. I also self-studied with no instructor guidance for AP exams on Microeconomics, Psychology, and Comparative Government, so I can share study strategies that most people never needed to develop. I recently earned a bachelor's degree in Economics.
Tutoring Approach:
Economics can be an intimidating discipline, so I like to provide plenty of practice questions and mock exams so my students gain experience working with key concepts. Practice makes perfect!
