Personal Description:

My name is Om. I am very passionate about teaching and am extremely adaptable. This allows me to adjust lessons to match my students' needs. Working one-on-one helps a student absorb material at their own pace and gives them the opportunity to ask questions without fear of being criticized.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in biochemistry in 2016. I also attended graduate school. My academic success and knowledge of many subjects qualifies me to be a physics tutor and help others in learning complex material.

Tutoring Approach:

While working with a student, I help them effectively learn fundamental concepts and more difficult material, while helping develop lifelong study skills. It's important to understand a student's learning style. By asking them to explain how they think through a problem, I can gauge how they learn and develop a more effective approach to tutoring. I also enjoy weaving in a student's extracurricular interests to boost their engagement.
