Personal Description:

I am a second year Medical Radiation Science student at McMaster University. I am looking to apply my reading and writing skills in the English language to help students from the ages of 4-18 achieve academic success in the regular school year as well as during the summer school months.

Tutoring Experience:

From grade 11 to grade 12, I was an English tutor for students at my high school.

Tutoring Approach:

I will help students develop a thesis statement, main points along with supporting details/examples, proper paragraph structure, and transitions from one paragraph/idea to another. I will also assist students in brainstorming for seminars or group discussions and proof read the student's writing assignments while making appropriate corrections.

In addition, I will teach students how to read, how to form proper sentence structure, and practice spelling with students.
