Personal Description:

I can help students with a variety of foundational math skills. The material I help students learn as a math tutor can benefit students throughout their academic careers. I bring a unique perspective to students, and I encourage students to find their own ways of exploring the skills and concepts they encounter. During 1-on-1 sessions, I am able to help a student address the most important material for their goals without having to accommodate the needs of other learners.

Tutoring Experience:

I am currently majoring in Fashion Design and I have experience tutoring students in a number of different subjects.

Tutoring Approach:

My work as a math tutor starts with understanding a student's goals learning style. Based on what motivates them to learn, I encourage them to truly understand the concepts they are learning. I don't want them to simply get the right answer, I want them to have an awareness of how they arrive at the right answer.
