Personal Description:
Hello there! I'm a 25-year-old law graduate with a genuine love for Mathematics. I was born and raised in Mauritius and studied law in the UK for three years. Connecting with new people is something I always look forward to, and I'm here to share my passion for numbers with you. Outside the world of law and math, you'll find me enjoying various hobbies such as learning new things, teaching, playing badminton, indulging in video games, and exploring nature through hikes.
Tutoring Experience:
Join me on a learning journey that goes beyond numbers and formulas. Since 2017, I have been tutoring students online, focusing on grades up to 12. Boasting a solid 95% (A*) in both GCSE (Grade 11) and A-level Maths (Grade 12), I'm keen on sharing my insights with others.
It genuinely saddens me to witness students disliking math, as I believe it's all about logic and problem-solving – skills essential for success in any field. With seven years of experience, I've tutored students from Grades 7 to 12, covering various sets and routes, from bottom to top and foundation to higher.
My strength lies not just in knowing syllabus chapters but also in understanding the exam process intricately. I'm well-versed in how examiners evaluate and mark past papers. Choose me as your guide, and let's make math a journey of understanding and success together.
I am also well-versed in French and will be happy to help anyone seeking to learn this beautiful language.
Tutoring Approach:
My teaching approach is refreshingly straightforward – I aim for my students to truly grasp the concepts behind math. Recognizing that each student has their own unique learning style, I tailor my lessons to cater to their individual needs.
In my role as a private tutor, I understand the importance of aligning with the methods taught in school to prevent confusion and offer a bespoke tutoring experience! Together, we navigate through worksheets for each chapter, ensuring a solid application of the knowledge.
We don't just stop at understanding; we dive into the practical side by delving into a trove of past papers. I mark each one and provide detailed feedback, guiding students on how to enhance their skills. My teaching methods are strategically designed to not only help students comprehend questions but also refine how they present their solutions in an exam setting.
Join me in this dynamic learning experience, where math becomes not just a subject to conquer but a skill to wield with confidence in any exam scenario! Let's make learning an enjoyable experience together!
I also have a similar approach to teaching French.
