Personal Description:

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Human Rights and a minor in Sociology from Carleton University in 2011. I run my own business for 6 months of the year. I enjoy reading and I complete a book every two days. I enjoy writing and have journaled most of my life. I am extremely creative using different mediums. I enjoy painting with Acrylic and oil. I enjoy creating found sculptures. I enjoy cross-country and downhill skiing in the winter.

Tutoring Experience:

I am quick learner, and because of this I have mastered many skills. I am a very outgoing and energetic individual. I enjoy problem solving and enjoy teaching others. I worked as PSW where I was responsible for assisting others in their learning journey. I also assisted with niece and nephew when it came to homework. I spent 5 years as a Big Sister for Big Brothers and Big Sisters Canada, assisting my little into her teenage years.

Tutoring Approach:

I will ask the parents/ students what they would like to work on/ improve on and help them attain that. I will learn their learning style and adapt so that I can better assist them. I am extremely patient but I know when to push. I am very creative which gives me the ability to make learning fun.
