Personal Description:

I can work with students in many subject areas, though I am primarily a physics tutor. I believe that any student is capable of learning, it just takes the right approach to encourage them. I can tailor my teaching style to accommodate my students, whether they require visual cues to learn about reflection and refraction or would benefit more from an in-depth discussion.

Tutoring Experience:

I am currently an undergraduate majoring in English with a minor in Secondary Education. I took nine AP courses, including Physics and Calculus, while in high school. I graduated with a 4.0 GPA. My AP courses allowed me to build a solid understanding of challenging concepts that I can pass on to others.

Tutoring Approach:

As a private mentor, I aim to help students find their learning preferences, which can aid them throughout their educational careers. I incorporate a student's interests, class notes, and other factors into our study sessions to help them as they work towards their goals.
