Information About Negar
Vancouver tutorPersonal Description:
I hold a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering. Currently, I am doing my master in Applied science at SFU. Being Teacher assistance for several years back in Iran as well as Being teacher assistance in physics lab in Canadian university, I developed the essential teaching skills, most important one is to believe in my students and be patient with their rate of learning. Personally I found it useful to give them real usage of the subjects they are suppose to learn. That's not fair to ask them learn something without letting them know the real usage and the concept, right?
Tutoring Experience:
Canadian teaching experiment: teaching physics lab at UNBC. (validation forms are available)
Iran Teaching experience: private in person tutoring. TA at School.
Online Teaching Experience: I do not have any that's why I set the price low. let me know if you want to be my first online student. And yes, the first section will be free for you.
Tutoring Approach:
Every student is different. I observe first try to see if there is any lack of confidence or "fear" around math or physics subjects that should be worked on.
I would explain the concept of the subject with example. As an Example in a X-Y plan with a second order function if X is independent variable and Y is dependent variable, Why do we need to find the X where Y is Max? Why can we use derivation as a tool here?
Derivation is sensitive to change and yes we use it to monitor the change happening (or not happening) in our function. Perfect way to talk about the behavior of the system/function.
