Personal Description:

I’m a 12th grade student with an exceptional track record in all my courses. I have a 4.0 GPA and am a high honours student. I’ve gone through vigorous leadership training and have worked with kids of all ages to help them get through tough spots and classes.

Tutoring Experience:

In the past I was a babysitter who prepared educational games and assisted young children with math and English. I was a student teacher and volunteered my time to help kids struggling in their classes in high school.

Tutoring Approach:

I try to work one on one with kids who need help. I like to think outside the box and explain why things are the way they are, not just how they work. I use real world connections to apply knowledge. I like to be a positive and fun person when dealing with problems, I don’t want to make people feel stupid or bad, I try to use positivity and make friendships so it’s less stressful. I find that speaking about subjects out loud helps to improve memory, rather than just writing in silence.
