Personal Description:
My name is Nathaniel, I'm 29 and I currently work as a data scientist at a large tech company. Prior to this job I spent 3 years teaching overseas where I developed an interest in teaching math, science, and economics. I finished my masters in agricultural economics in 2017 where I spent an additional 2 years teaching university students and realized the huge gap in the approach to teaching math to older learners.
Tutoring Experience:
Total of 5 years teaching experience. Three years teaching overseas from teaching kindergarten all the way to university/adults learners. Two years as a TA at the University of Guelph teaching undergraduate students math and economics.
Tutoring Approach:
Personally, I believe the way we teach math is backwards. We teach ro**Contact Detail Removed**arning without first teaching the WHY or the INTUITION. To fully understand mathematics we need to first understand the application, the point, and what we are doing. Once we get this, the memorizing of the formula/algorithms come easy.

However, the quick reply to fix the misunderstanding was much appreciated.
Would recommend an introductory session in order to be on the same page.
