Personal Description:

I have been a volunteer teacher in Israel, a tutor for an after-school program, and a substitute teacher. I have plenty of tutoring and teaching experience that has shaped me into an effective math tutor. I know that each student has a unique learning method, so I spend a fair amount of time getting to know each student's needs. For example, I may use flashcards for young math learners or charts and graphs for high school math students.

Tutoring Experience:

Along with my tutoring and teaching experience, I have a bachelor's degree in human services and a master's degree in social work. My experience allows me to tutor in all areas of math between middle school and college. Whether your student is learning percentages or decimal placements, I can help. If you are preparing for an upcoming algebra exam in your college course, I can help with that as well.

Tutoring Approach:

I give students the same respect that I expect from them. Students learn information through visual, auditory, tactile, or a combination of those methods, so I teach concepts using multiple methods.
