Personal Description:
I can help students as they investigate a number of physics topics. I enjoy working to communicate ideas clearly as a physics tutor. In addition to high school and college physics topics, I have expertise in a number of relevant math and science skills, which makes me a more knowledgeable physics tutor. I enjoy interactive learning, and I encourage students to develop their problem-solving skills during sessions.
Tutoring Experience:
I earned a bachelor's degree in Engineering Sciences. During college, I gained tutoring experience from tutoring other students in physics and math. I worked as a tutor for student-athletes. I currently work as an engineer.
Tutoring Approach:
I work with students to put concepts into their own terms. This leads to deeper, more personal learning. When a student gets a problem wrong, I work to help them understand where they made a mistake. Then, we work together to help them improve their knowledge and skills.
