Personal Description:
I am synthetic and catalytic chemistry specialist and neuroscience student at University of Toronto with extensive background in science, including research and lab work experience, and additional education in art, which includes 4 years of an intense academic art programme (drawing, painting, sculpturing, history of art). I am currently working on synthetic half-reactions in organic chemistry lab.
Tutoring Experience:
Experience tutoring students ages 12 to 30+ for 2 years.
This includes Canadian Curriculum Grade 7-12 Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Science.
I have also successfully tutored Russian as foreign language.
Tutoring Approach:
I love what I am doing and my goal is to show my students how exciting and engaging science and math can actually be. I also do believe that it is hard to learn things without visualizations or graphics by just memorizing so my students get a lot of charts, tables, pictures, infographics and even make some themselves to enhance understanding.
