Personal Description:

I am a McGill graduate with a degree in Economics and International development. I am multilingual but my first language is English and my education has been fully English (19 years of education). I love to teach and nothing gives me more joy than seeing the look of conprehension on students' faces when they've finally reached a solution by themselves!

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught primary school english, for grades 1 and 3. I have also tutored young students with a focus on both written and spoken english. I am comfortable teaching all ages

Tutoring Approach:

No one student is the same and so I alter my approach based on each student's individual needs.
Depending on the student's personal requirements, I set goals and plan out activities to help the student achieve them confidently.
If the student simply wants to improve their spoken English I alter my course content to suit the everyday interactions they need it for.
With all students one thing remains constant: my never ending patience! If they do not understand the content, I encourage their questions as many times as needed until we have succeeded.
