Personal Description:

I am able to help students with concepts ranging from phonics to college-level English. I have years of experience as a teacher and English tutor, and I am able to present concepts in engaging ways. In addition to foundational reading and writing skills, I can help students prepare for all types of standardized testing. I am able to lead personalized sessions that are focused on the most relevant material for a student.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in K-8 Elementary Education. I also hold a master's degree in Elementary Education. I have been a full-time teacher for over 35 years. I have tutored students from all over the world.

I work hard to help students become independent learners with strong critical thinking skills. Working as an English tutor in a one-on-one setting allows me to make sure that they cover material at the right pace and in ways that fit their learning style.
