Personal Description:

I understand that academics can be challenging, so I enjoy providing the support and encouragement that allows every student to be capable of excellence. Literature is one of my passions and I realize it can be difficult to engage with. I help students discover new perspectives and learning strategies to reinvigorate their study of the subject.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree in Humanities and Social Sciences. I have experience as a substitute teacher. I'm an English tutor who can work with students in a variety of subjects including expository writing, fiction writing, poetry, English grammar and syntax, essay editing, and many more.

Tutoring Approach:

Each student has their own unique learning style. As a tutor, I can make sure each student feels heard and I can adjust my instructional methods to their particular needs. Tutoring lets me engage one-on-one with students and help them realize ways to relate the material they are learning to their own lives and interests.
