Personal Description:

My academic and career experience is heavily focused on the field of physics. While I primarily work with high school and college students as a physics tutor, I also tutor students in related fields such as chemistry and calculus and honors versions of these courses such as IB Physics and AP Physics.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in physics and my Ph.D. in physics. My first teaching experience was as an instructor for a private high school.

I've designed and taught AP Calculus, Precalculus, and SAT Math Prep at a private high school. I've also taught and lectured at the college level for courses such as Modern Physics Laboratory, Electricity and Magnetism Laboratory, Quantum Physics, and more.

Tutoring Approach:

My objective as a tutor is to facilitate critical thinking and the effective use of scientific information. I encourage students to ask relevant questions and approach their own questions and those of an instructor in a methodological way while working in a collaborative manner with them.
