Personal Description:

I am PhD candidate at University of Manitoba, majoring in Electrical Engineering. My area of specialization is in Computer Vision, Image and Signal Processing. I have a masters and a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been a teaching assistant in several undergraduate and graduate courses such as signals and systems, digital signal processing, analog and digital communication, applied physics, advanced digital signal processing, adaptive filtering and stochastic systems. My duties included preparing labs and grading assignments. Moreover, I communicated with students bot as a class and at an individual level to coach them.

Tutoring Approach:

I prefer an approach centered on discussion and trying to figure out the concepts that are troubling the student. This allows me to help motivate the student and coach them into overcoming their problems.
