Personal Description:

My name is Muhammad Ali . I’m a Grade 11 student at Maple High School, enrolled in the International Baccalaureate program, where I am also the Student Body Representative. As an IB student, I have taken both grade 11, 12, and university-level courses, which ensure that I have a holistic understanding of and ample background information on my student's curriculum concepts.

Tutoring Experience:

I have had the privilege of serving as a peer tutor at my high school, specializing in guiding pre-IB grade 10 and 9 students. Additionally, I assumed the role of a dedicated math tutor for grade 9 pre-IB students within the school community. Beyond the classroom, I contributed to my local mosque by providing tutoring services for children aged 4-16, covering subjects such as Math and Science, and even incorporating my passion for Basketball into the learning experience. My journey in tutoring commenced in grade 8, and since grade 9, I have continually served as a peer tutor and mentor within the high school, fostering academic growth and collaboration.

Tutoring Approach:

In my approach to tutoring, I prioritize building a genuine connection with my students by getting to know them on a personal level. Beyond academics and athletics, I aim to understand their interests, passions, and aspirations. This comprehensive understanding allows me to tailor lessons that resonate with their individuality, optimizing the learning experience.
