Personal Description:
I am a Master's student in Economics at UVic. I am interested in Microeconomics, economic discrimination, and game theory. I am currently working on the role of Asymmetric Information in gender-neutral policies at universities. Also, I have a B.Sc. degree in Chemical engineering and I am very good at math, which helps me to understand microeconomics theory much better. In my free time, I usually read a book related to social science, watch series, and play tennis.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been a teaching assistant for many courses. I mention some of them: Statistics and Probability (undergradua**Contact Detail Removed**vel), Principle of Economics (undergradua**Contact Detail Removed**vel), Intermediate Macroeconomics (undergradua**Contact Detail Removed**vel), Intermediate Microeconomics (undergradua**Contact Detail Removed**vel), and Financial projects evaluation (undergradua**Contact Detail Removed**vel).
During the last months, I have been a private tutor for intermediate microeconomics.
Tutoring Approach:
I pay too much attention to solving problems. I believe that first, we need to introduce the theory, then, start solving problems to understand a topic. I try to start a topic at a very basic level, then solving problems to a high level (depends on the situation). As a student who loves math, I can go beyond problems and make them as simple as possible.
