Information About Mohamed

Mohamed

Personal Description:

Hi, I am a senior engineer working at the interface of computer science and mathematics. I have a masters' degree from University of Toronto in artificial intelligence, and a Bachelor of computer engineering from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal. I love mathematics and physics, and I do believe they are the foundations to build a society that value rational judgements to solve the key challenging problems of this 21th century.

Tutoring Experience:

I was a tutor in mathematics and computer engineering for two years at Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal. I also helped many students at University of Toronto to solve their programming problems.

Tutoring Approach:

I do believe we have to struggle a bit in order to solve a problem or an assignment. For this reason, I don't simply help students by giving them the right way to answer the question. I tried to provide implicit hints and analogies to help them focus on the important aspects of the problem. From my experience, this is he best way to have successful mentees who become quickly independent.
