Experienced tutor with over 3 years of experience tutoring privately and with a company.

Tutoring Experience:

I am a native French speaker who live in Edmonton, Alberta. I have been teaching French, English, mathematics, physics, and social studies to K-12 students for more than 3 years. I plan their entire learning strategy with them and assess their progress in order to adjust it to a challenging level. I hold a bilingual Bachelor of Commerce and I am pursuing a Master's in Educational Planning, Economics and International Development.

Tutoring Approach:

My method is mostly changing courses and exercises to adapt them in a realistic of amusing way in order to make them more appealing. I explain the basics and give some tips, then I let the students discover how to solve problems. I don't intervene too much because I think that the students often tend to rely too much on their tutors and sometimes, want them to do all the work.
If possible, I make cross words because it stimulates the brain and helps to memorize and understand better.
The whole point is to help people reach goals that they write down while having fun.
