Personal Description:

I am 49 years old, male. I have taught ESL, International Relations, Literature, Essay writing and History at the university level for over 15 years, in South Korea mostly. I am married, with 2 kids.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over 15 years experience in teaching university level students in ESL, English and IR. I have about 10 months experience teaching elementary school children.
I have worked abroad, in Asia, since 2002 at 4 different universities in South Korea

Tutoring Approach:

It depends on whether it is one on one or classroom. I like to engage with students, but in a structured way. I prefer a scaffolding approach, where students are gently guided towards autonomy via exercises, games, and brief explanations of structure.
