Personal Description:

I enjoy instilling confidence in students as an economics tutor. I always encourage students to ask questions and also enjoy providing them with a chance to teach me. Being able to convey information to others is an important skill. I can teach up to college level economics as well as business subjects.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a 3.7 GPA and a Bachelor of Arts in English. I've spent time tutoring middle school students as part of the PAIR program and graduate students from foreign countries.

Tutoring Approach:

My teaching style involves using a questioning approach to encourage my students to learn. Conveying the information back to me is a way to help students master a subject. To build confidence, I'll ask about a student's goals and proceed with smaller goals while measuring their success along the way. I also try to make a subject feel less abstract by relating it to aspects of their life.
