Personal Description:

As an educator, I have learned that teaching is an exchange. Teachers must lead with their heart and love what they do so they can make it fun and exciting for the students. My students are constantly inspiring me to innovate and improve my teaching methods and I bring this to my work as a Portuguese tutor.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in translation and interpretation. I've been teaching ESL students and helping them improve their English skills for more than twenty-five years. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy working with students to develop their linguistic skills in both English and Portuguese.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe it is important to get to know each student's goals so that we can decide together how to achieve them. I provide my students with tools and techniques to help them reach their goals with me that they can then use in their independent studies.
