I am a third-year Computer Science student at UBC with a strong proficiency in mathematics and extensive experience tutoring students from elementary to high school.
Tutoring Experience:
I’ve been tutoring for three years, helping students unlock their potential, especially in mathematics. I take pride in fostering growth, building confidence, and celebrating their successes as they progress.
Tutoring Approach:
This is what my lesson looks like:
• SET GOAL: Define the lesson objective for clarity and efficiency.
• PRACTICE PROBLEMS: Identify weaknesses and provide real-time feedback.
• CONCEPT EXPLANATION: Address key concepts based on student needs.
• WRAP-UP: Complete problems, review goals, and confirm understanding.
BETWEEN LESSONS, I PROVIDE DAILY QUIZZES (just 1 question you can do it) AND HOMEWORK SUPPORT to reinforce learning and build confidence.
