Personal Description:

Hola! My name is Mercedes and I am a native Spanish speaker. I have lived in the south of Spain for most of my life, studied in Scotland and recently moved to Canada. I love learning languages and teaching them!

Tutoring Experience:

I have experience tutoring all levels of Spanish (from beginners to advanced) to all ages.
- 2015-2016 (in Spain): I taught English to two young children. I was also a school tutor of maths and Spanish.
- 2017-2019 (In Scotland): I taught Spanish while studying at the University of Glasgow.

I love learning languages and I can speak English, French, German and a bit of Russian. Having been in language lessons all my life, I have gained a lot of experience in how to adapt to each student's pace and needs.

Tutoring Approach:

Totally depends on the student! If you are a complete beginner, I would introduce a balance between conversation, grammar, and vocabulary. If you are looking to improve your conversation skills, we could work on that. I can also help with school/university work.
