Personal Description:

I am an upbeat, calm English tutor who is always willing to teach to my student's preferred learning style. I have experience working with students who have learning differences, including those who are studying English as a second language. I am also comfortable with both remote and in-person sessions.

Tutoring Experience:

I am a certified teacher for Early Childhood, K-12 Reading and Literacy, and K-12 ESOL and am currently employed as an ESOL teacher. I also have a master's degree in Reading and Literacy and completed a graduate certificate course program in ESE. I have experience teaching both children and adults.

Tutoring Approach:

Learning is a lifelong process and should occur because students want to do it, not because they fear the adverse consequences of something like a bad grade. I do everything in my power to make learning more engaging, whether that means starting with something easy to help students build confidence or letting them pick what we work on.
