Personal Description:

I truly believe that the best way to broaden your knowledge base is to share it with others. I have a passion for science, and it is my goal to make every student I work with feel more comfortable with it as they pursue their long-term goals. With the right help and guidance, no goal is outside of your reach!

Tutoring Experience:

I hold a degree in Applied Microbiology, earned with a final GPA of 3.75. I also tutored students younger than me as a college student and worked as a research assistant. My duties included teaching undergraduate microbiology courses and demonstrating proper lab techniques, helping me hone the skills expected of an educator.

Tutoring Approach:

As a biology tutor, I try to make learning as fun as possible for my students. Positive reinforcement always worked well for me, so I have no problem rewarding strong efforts and milestones reached. I'll also turn learning into a game at every opportunity.
