Personal Description:

I can help students with a number of valuable reading and writing skills, including essay editing and comparative literature. I can work as an English tutor for students at the high school or college levels, and I have particular experience in ELL and ESL situations. Also, I can help students with TOEFL preparation or with the Reading portion of the SAT. I love to teach, and I can lead personalized lessons using effective teaching strategies.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Creative Writing. I have my TEFL license, and I have taught in a number of private and public settings. I also helped students prepare for the TOEFL iBT.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that it is my job as an English tutor to give students a safe place to make mistakes, and then I provide them with the tools they need to develop their abilities on their own.
