Personal Description:

I am a third year honours health sciences student at Wilfrid Laurier University. I minor in psychology and will be going into a med school for psychiatry in about 2 years. I am passionate about teaching children and helping them grow the passion for subjects like english, history, biology, and psychology.

I am police verified (vulnerable sector check) and also will be recertifying for my CPR C-level.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored my neighbour's children for many years. I have also tutored my younger sister, her friends, as well as people my age in all manner of subjects, including english and high school math and science. I am familiar with the Ontario school curriculum, as I was a student in Ontario.

I was also part of a reading buddies program at a local library when I was in high school. In the program, I would encourage young children to read.

Tutoring Approach:

Depends on what the student needs. If they require a more hands-on approach, with rewards to enhance learning, I can reward them with little breaks or games (for younger children).
