Personal Description:

I got started as an essay writing tutor because I've always done well academically and I feel like I have good communication skills and can pass on what I know to my students. I am passionate about encouraging other people to succeed and it is very gratifying for me when my students improve their results after working with me.

Tutoring Experience:

Throughout my studies at high school and university, I was always tutoring other students. I worked as a teaching assistant, and I have both my bachelor's and master's degrees. I've led study groups and worked with students that were having difficulty in a 1-on-1 setting, helping them get up to speed.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to set my students at ease. If you are uncomfortable then it is difficult to learn. Learning is a natural process that people are inherently good at, you just need to break through some of the social barriers that people put up. I want my students to feel comfortable coming to me when they don't understand something.
