Personal Description:

My greatest strength as a French tutor is my ability to explain complex concepts in terms that students can easily understand. I am comfortable teaching all aspects of French, including speaking, reading, writing, and listening. I can also help students prepare for standardized tests such as the SAT Subject Test in French, proofread written assignments in French, and develop broader study skills applicable in most subjects (including French). I can also teach Russian.

Tutoring Experience:

I have volunteered as a tutor for an organization that brings students into the inner city who are considered low-income middle school students.

Tutoring Approach:

Learning is not a static process where students study for an exam and then forget everything that they have learned. Instead, students should strive to absorb the material and use it as a jump-off point for even higher achievement. In other words, I believe that students should never sit still with their academic achievements.
