Personal Description:
I graduated from Brock University with my Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science in 2007 and from the University of Waterloo with my Masters in Political Science. I have intentions of completing Doctoral Studies in Political Science with the end goal of being a professor at a University or College. I currently reside in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
Tutoring Experience:
I have three years tutoring experience which include both volunteer and paid. I have experience tutoring both University and College students in Politics, Essay and Report Writing, Study and Organization Skills and learning the English language. In addition, in March 2015 I was selected to be an instructor for the Video Game Design Encore program at the DSBN Academy in St. Catharines where I teach game design to autistic and neurodivergent high school students in my position as Education Ambassador with Every1Games Inc.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to tutoring involves working one-on-one with students in order to assist in answering their questions and concerns. I will describe personal experiences and provide some of my own resources if necessary. I am patient, open to new ideas and will continue tutoring until the student and I are confident that no further assistance is required. I will also check my emails constantly in order to answer any additional questions from the student being tutored. I also will complete additional work from home if necessary.
