Personal Description:

I have a strong working knowledge of math and physics topics. I can help students learn the fundamentals, such as the four fundamental forces, or more advanced areas like string theory. I can assist with test prep as well, whether it's for an assessment or a final. I understand how to help students focus and engage as they work to build confidence and knowledge.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Math. My educational background in math provides the skills and knowledge necessary to serve as a physics tutor. During my senior year at university, I worked as a teaching assistant for a remedial chemistry course with small groups of students. I also tutored peers in AP Physics.

Tutoring Approach:

We learn best when we have a strong foundation on which we can build our knowledge. I believe it's important to cover the basics to ensure that my students have a solid grasp of that material. During the first session, I prefer to assess their skills to identify strengths and weaknesses, as well as their communication style.
