Personal Description:

I am a trained educator with professional classroom experience. As an economics tutor, I can work with students who need help with their coursework, or who are preparing for upcoming exams, or even those who need someone to help them edit their essays. People sometimes think of economics as a narrow field, but it actually asks students to draw on a lot of different skill-sets from a lot of different areas, and I tutor students on subjects as varied as math, history, and writing, all topics an economics student is likely to encounter.

Tutoring Experience:

I have studied education and pedagogy and have more than five years' experience as an educator, including as a classroom teacher. My undergraduate degree is in secondary education, and I am currently pursuing an advanced degree so I can be a school counselor.

Tutoring Approach:

I try to recognize the potential in every student, and begin with the assumption that, if a student is signing up for tutoring, they must have a desire to succeed. My job is to foster that, and to help each student reach their potential.
