Personal Description:

My name is Maryam. I am an English teacher. i teach to both adults and school students grade 6 and above. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics at York University. Also, I hold the TESL Ontario Certificate of Accreditation, the YCDSB TESL Practicum Certificate, the CLB Training Certificate, and an ESL Teaching Methodology Certificate from England.

Tutoring Experience:

I have more than 19 years of experience teaching EFL/ESL to adult and school learners. I have taught a variety of subjects including general English, paragraph/ essay writing, IELTS/ TOEFL preparation, and English for Academic Purposes.

Tutoring Approach:

i would teach students based on their individual needs and goals. classes can be 1 or 2 hours based on the need of the student.
