Personal Description:

I am a native English speaker and I qualified as an English High School teacher 4 years ago from a top international university. I have been tutoring in English for over 6 years to people of all ages and nationalities and I enjoy seeing the progression that my students make as a result of my lessons.

I live in downtown Vancouver, but I can travel to Kerrisdale, Kitsilano and the UBC area. Online tutoring is also an option.

Tutoring Experience:

I am an experienced English teacher, and I teach full-time in one of the leading independent high schools in Vancouver. I hold an English Bachelor Degree, a Master of Education and I am fully qualified in teaching ESL.

I have a wealth of experience with private tutoring and my students have enjoyed exceptional success rates as a result of my lessons.

Tutoring Approach:

Each student receives a learning plan is tailored for the individual student to ensure that all of their specific learning needs are being met. Each lesson is rigorous and well-planned to ensure that students derive maximum benefit from each lesson and that time is well-spent.

I am available for English tutoring for university essay writing, all aspects of high school English and provincial examination preparation, developing conversational skills, improving grammar and syntax, and ESL.

I can also help you with preparation for IELTS, TOEFL, CELPIP and SAT examinations.
