Personal Description:
I enjoy serving as a physics tutor to students at all skill levels. I can get to know my students on a personal level, allowing me to determine their knowledge, opinions on the subject, and obstacles. Whether my student is struggling with theories of gravity or they need a hand preparing for a final, I can offer insight and support.
Tutoring Experience:
I worked as a Senior Scientist for 15 years, where I participated in cancer cell biology research, crop biotechnology, genomics, and data mining. Since leaving the company, I have been tutoring students in science and math. I obtained a bachelor's in Biological Sciences and a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology. I was also a teaching assistant and a tutor.
Tutoring Approach:
As a private instructor, I believe it's crucial to identify problem areas and address them as quickly as possible. Any topic can be broken down to a basic level, which can make it easier for students to grasp. I incorporate a variety of resources, including online tools, textbooks, and the school curriculum.
