Personal Description:

Born and raised on the west coast, it has been fun enjoying many indoor and outdoor activities. Walking through the forest in the summer to snow-shoeing in the winter are great ways to spend time. Reading is also a great hobby, as well as playing music!

Tutoring Experience:

I have had over 20 years of tutoring / activity leading experience from ESL to science. It is fun to combine subjects so students can practice English and learn about ecology and nature. Also, it is important to focus on areas of study that are connected to improve understanding. The best knowledge is integrating understanding and grasping concepts. I know students understand when they are able to explain the concept they are studying!
