Personal Description:

Education is a gateway to opportunities, whether they be social, financial, or personal. This is one of the reasons I love working alongside students to help them achieve their educational objectives. When tutoring, I try to teach a deep understanding of the material rather than just concentrating on the facts and procedures. I believe this develops a sustainable approach to learning that will stick with the student throughout their life.

Tutoring Experience:

I am a certified teacher and have taught and tutored grades 6 through 12. With a bachelor's in Social Science Education and a master's in Law, I have a strong educational background that compliments my experience as a teacher.

Tutoring Approach:

As an art tutor, I like to focus on the fundamentals. If a student is struggling with material, it's okay to take a step back and re-visit the basic principles before moving forward. Establishing a strong foundation and building a willingness to make mistakes is a very important to the learning process.
