Personal Description:
Hello Everyone!
I have been in school for a long time and I do have some tips and tricks on how to prevent the most common
writing, reading, research, and grammar mistakes.
When you hire me you will get a teacher who is compassionate, patient and personable.
Even though I am patient towards my students, I do try and push my students to be their best versions of themselves.
Tutoring Experience:
I developed my passion for teaching when I was introduced to it during my graduate studies.
I was a teaching assistant for a university course. In the course I taught students writing, communications and research skills.
I also volunteer with an organization that assist refugees and migrants in learning english as second language.
Tutoring Approach:
I try to produce a safe and comfortable space for students to thrive and grow. I like to tie back the subject matter into reality, project-based situations and inquiry-based learning. I want what I am teaching to be tangible and applicable. I do this by making sure the student is able to use what was learned and apply outside the teaching session. I also believe it is important to connect with students to develop a more personable and unique tutoring session.
My students will always come away from a session feeling confident and enlightened. I instill and remind my students that they have the tools and skills to accomplish anything. It may take some patience and hard work, but you will reach your goal!
