Personal Description:
I am an BC Certified elementary teacher working in French immersion classroom.
I am a native French speaker, I like traveling, cooking, arts and crafts.
Aside from teaching, I like volunteering in cultural and nature-oriented venues. I am also an outdoor enthousiast.
Tutoring Experience:
I've been teaching FSL for over 10 years. I have experience with adults, teenagers and young children.
I taught civil servants in French and helped for their Second language evaluation with the public service in Ottawa.
I've helped young children with their homework and school work for over four years.
I am currently employed with a public school board and have my own classroom at an elementary level.
Tutoring Approach:
I first start with a conversation and a few exercices to understand the learner's teaching profile, then adapt every teaching material according their needs.
I also plan my lessons ahead and I communicate before each session.

She is a natural with children and is in complete control of the tutoring session… while having a giggle here and there.
My 7 year old has responded positively to her math tutoring.
