Personal Description:

Hello, my name is Marie! I am a recent York University graduate. I completed my International Bachelor of Arts in International Studies at Glendon College where I was awarded an honors degree and bilingual excellence certificate. I attended a self-directed high school in Toronto which was instrumental in my self development. I consider myself to be studious, responsible and engaging. I speak Kirundi, French and English fluently.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring since grade 10, I was part of the after school tutoring program at my highschool. I tutored various subjects, however my strong suits are Math, French and essay help. I also lived in Paris during my third year of University where I had ESL pupils, raging from an adult to a young child.

Tutoring Approach:

I take a student-focused approach, having been a student mysel until very recently I understand how daunting some course material can be. I encourage students to sellf-identify their struggles before offering assistance. Once we have collectively found opportunities for improvement, I then tailor my lessons to specifically address these weak points.
