Personal Description:

I fell in love with teaching, especially in a one-on-one capacity, when I was in college. I am able to get along with any student, and my enthusiasm for biology also makes me a great biology tutor. I explain concepts with a calm and thorough demeanor. I believe education is the most important tool in any person's life.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my bachelor's degree with dual majors in Biology and Russian Literature. While I was in college, I tutored local high school students about topics related to biology. I can also tutor students to prepare for the Biological Sciences section of the MCAT.

Tutoring Approach:

It's important to me that I understand each student's needs and learning styles. That helps me tailor my tutoring style to match their needs. If a student is especially struggling with a certain concept, I like to create visual guides like videos or other tools to help them master the difficult concept.
