Personal Description:

I am able to lead personalized lessons that address the needs of many different students. I work hard as an English tutor to help students feel comfortable learning. I particularly enjoy working with EFL learners and new writers. Helping students communicate clearly and express their thoughts is an important aspect of my work as a tutor. During sessions, I can focus on the material that is most important to each student.

Tutoring Experience:

My undergraduate degree is in English. I also have a master's degree in English. I also worked as a graduate tutor in the university writing center. I have six years of experience as a summer camp counselor and program director as well.

Tutoring Approach:

When students are learning, they need to feel able to ask questions or share that they are struggling. Creating a space where students can be vulnerable is an essential part of being an effective English tutor for me.
