Personal Description:

¡Hola! I’m Malu, a passionate language enthusiast with a rich cultural background—half English, half Spanish. I hold a BA in English Linguistics, Literature, and History, as well as a Master’s in Marketing and Foreign Trade.

With broad experience teaching Spanish at all levels, I’ve worked with everyone from young children to professionals needing Business Spanish or focused Conversation practice. Whether it’s helping kids take their first steps in Spanish or guiding adults toward fluency, I love adapting my lessons to fit each student’s unique needs.

In addition to teaching, I’m also a voice-over actor for Spanish companies, specializing in delivering a clear, neutral accent. This has given me a deeper appreciation for the nuances of language, which I bring into my lessons.

But above all, I truly enjoy connecting with people and watching them grow in confidence as their Spanish improves. My goal is to make learning not just effective, but fun and rewarding.

Tutoring Experience:

My journey as a Spanish teacher began during my university years in Madrid, Spain, and has since taken me across Vienna, Austria, and Montreal, Canada. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching a diverse range of students from all walks of life, each with their own unique goals and interests.

Tutoring Approach:

Every student is unique, and so are my classes. I tailor each session to your needs, goals, and learning style, ensuring you get the most out of every lesson. Whether you're learning Spanish for travel, work, or personal growth, we’ll focus on what matters most to you.

Classes are divided into 2 or 3 flexible blocks, combining conversation, reading, and writing in a way that keeps learning engaging and relevant. We’ll cover topics that interest you, helping you build confidence and fluency from day one.

My goal is to make learning Spanish both effective and enjoyable, so you’ll feel motivated and excited to keep progressing. With years of experience teaching Spanish, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
