Personal Description:

Hello! I'm a professional news journalist-turned-teacher with a love for essays, storytelling, and the oxford comma, currently saving up money to put myself through teacher's college. I have a solid foundation in French and math, and would love nothing more than to pass on my enthusiasm for both.

Tutoring Experience:

I've mainly tutored small children -- 2 years to 7 years old -- but have experience helg middle-school children with homework and test prep. I've also helped university-level students with essays and exam preparation, especially concerning English and related studies.

Tutoring Approach:

In my oion, the best approach to tutoring is to set attainable (yet challenging) goals for each student. The better the student feels about their progress and their milestones, the more enthusiastic they will be about their learning. My philosophy is simple: meet the student where they are, and bring them along one step at a time.
