Personal Description:

I have Master's degree in Engineering. I have played violin professionally, and I do research in cognition.

Tutoring Experience:

I taught high school math and physics at an international school in Seoul, Korea for several years.
I have tutored for ten years. I have tutored all of the high school and First Year University courses in Math and Physics as well as the AP classes.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that it is important to know the methods, do the problems, and memorize basic equations. But that is not enough. One must also see how these various pieces fit together as well as gain an intuitive grasp of what the equations mean.
I also tell the occasional 'dad joke' to make the subject less intimidating.
